📌 As a Frontend Engineer Team Lead at Corti, you'll be responsible for leading a team that is building, maintaining, and improving our internal and external facing tools and applications. This entails everything from specifying complex solutions based on customer requirements, to designing and building the user interface - are you up for the adventure?

The impact you'll make

  • Hire cutting edge talent and mentor every employee on the team in a way for them to become a success

  • Ensure that teams are at all times enabled to fulfill their tasks in the right way, including the right resources, information and clear plans

  • Work across teams within the product team as well as other product teams to align upon best practices

  • Stay up to date with frontend best practices, tools and latest developments in this area

  • Developing & architecting improvements to the product using React in conjunction with the rest of the team

  • Maintain and improve the codebase, including writing automated tests

  • Optimize applications for maximum performance

  • Write functional requirement documents and guides

  • Assist other team members with coding and troubleshooting

  • Bridge technical communication between end users, technical leads, decision makers, and Corti engineering

Job requirements

What you'll bring

  • You have a Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field, e.g. Mathematics, Data Engineering

  • You have multiple years of work experience in Frontend Development

  • You have experience with managing a small to medium sized team

  • You have experience with working in React

  • You have broad experience and knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, incl. different coding patterns

  • You have applied knowledge of architecting frontend code with extensible, sustainable practices

  • You like working in a distributed team environment

  • You have good knowledge of REST & CRUD APIs

  • You have experience in developing applications for large user bases

  • You bring solid interpersonal skills and like working in a a fast-paced environment

Practicalities

  • Reporting to: Director of Product
  • The preferred location is Denmark or Lithuania, but we can be flexible for the right candidate
  • Full-time position, starting as soon as possible
